
Born and raised in South Africa, Strini Reddy’s career in the field of education spans 42 years and five countries. He has received numerous honours and awards for his leadership and achievements in education, social justice, peace, and anti-racism. Strini is a member of the Order of Manitoba and a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee medal.
In his retirement, Strini remains dedicated to the well-being of children and young people through a number of initiatives. He is Chair of Manitoba’s Healthy Child Advisory Committee, Past President of Boys and Girls Clubs of Winnipeg, and Co-founder and volunteer Chair of the CSI Summer Learning Enrichment Program for Winnipeg’s inner-city children.
