Initiated in the summer of 2007, the mission of the WPRC is to reduce poverty significantly in Winnipeg, with the aspiration that Winnipeg can truly be A City Where Everyone Belongs. During the period of July 2008 to June 2010, the WPRC established a strong foundation on which to actualize a community-wide, integrated, and cross-sectoral approach to poverty reduction.
The contents of this report provide a summary of WPRC activities, accomplishments, learnings, and partnerships during 2008-2010.
